How to run a game
- Make your cards in the bingo card generator, or open a ready-made bingo theme, and print them.
- In the bingo maker, choose “Play this game on screen”, under the settings or after you download. This page opens with the same words and the same cards.
- Press “Next call” for each call, or turn on auto-call to call every few seconds. Use full screen on a projector or a TV so the whole room can see.
- When a player calls bingo, type the number from the corner of their card into “Check a card”. The page shows which squares have been called and whether they make a line.
Tips for callers
- Say the winning pattern before you start: any line, four corners, or the whole card.
- With young players, call slowly and point to the word on the board after each call.
- Called one too many by accident? “Undo last call” takes it back, and the next call brings it again in the same place.
- The game is kept in the page address and on this device, so a refresh or a closed tab does not lose it. Copy the address to carry on from another device.
- Playing with numbers and cards from somewhere else? The caller still works; only “Check a card” needs cards made here.
Common questions
Does the caller use the same cards I printed?
Yes. The link from the bingo card generator carries your words, settings and card seed, so the caller rebuilds exactly the cards you printed. Card 7 on screen is card 7 on paper.
Is the order of calls random?
Yes. Each new game shuffles every word or number into a new order. Nothing is called twice, and every call is shown on the board.
How do I check a winning card?
Type the card number into “Check a card”. The page marks the called squares on that card and says whether they make a row, a column or a diagonal, or how close the card is.
What if I refresh the page by accident?
Nothing is lost. The calls so far are kept in the page address and on your device, so the game carries on from the same call.
Can I use it with a projector or a smartboard?
Yes. Full screen shows only the current call, the board and the controls, with nothing else on screen. A presentation clicker can make the next call.
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no email and nothing to install. It runs in your browser.
